“Yesterday I hit a deer in my 2010 Sienna. The impact was directly in front of the driver. This was a very hard impact and my airbags did not deploy. I bought this van because of toyata's safety reputation. I have 2 small children and I am very concerned about their safety in this van. I am concerned that if I need the airbags they will not deploy again. I can send you a picture of the accident if you like. Please contact me by email . I am trying to determine my next actions concerning my future in this vehicle and with Toyota. My families safety is my priority. Thank you.”

After switching passengers, the front passenger side air bag operated normally for approximately 20 minutes before the malfunction recurred, although the passenger seat weighed approximately 213 lbs. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 52,000.”
