2019: “My E-Tron has suddenly accelerated twice. Once on the highway and once going less than 15 MPH on a flat, dirt road. The first time I thought perhaps it was my error, but when it happened a second time it clearly wasn't. The car revved up out of nowhere and I had to pump the breaks to slow down. I never once used cruise control during either situation. Fortunately, nothing was in front of me during either situation and breaking worked to resolve my speed/control of the car. …”

NHTSA complaint #11394631, filed 2021-02, 12,960 miles

2021: “Vehicle shuts off and slams into park when driving at low speeds. Vehicle will then refuse to restart for about 15 seconds and I am unable move the vehicle from park. This issue only occurs when the vehicle has been charging overnight, and has not occurred if the vehicle hasn't been recently charged. Vehicle was brought to the dealer which stated it was working as designed. The problem has occurred multiple times.”

NHTSA complaint #11388967, filed 2021-01, 400 miles

2022: “There is a recall for this vehicle for battery overheating and vehicle catching on fire. Audi is unable to remedy this issue at this time. I notice routinely that the charging wire used to charge this vehicle becomes extra hot during charging. I have discussed this issue with Audi but they claim they cannot help me at this time. I'm worried about danger of fire. Please help.”
