“Wife was pulling into a parking space and she depressed the break pedal. The pedal went straight to the floor without stopping the vehicle. The car (Audi Q7, 2015), continued to move forward until she hit the car parked in front of her. She quickly let off the break pedal and re-applied the brakes and the car stopped; although, this could have been attributed to the impact. Luckily this happened in a parking lot; however, now she is concerned that this could happen on the road at higher speeds. …”
NHTSA complaint #10716463, filed 2015-05, 1,729 miles“Problem is the brakes. Six months after purchasing this SUV, the brakes started to squeak a little when I slowed down or stopped. At that time the attendant mentioned that other Q7ʻs had something going on with the brakes, but not my Q7. …”
NHTSA complaint #10928940, filed 2016-12“ABS sensor failed. Caused the warning lights to come on showing failure. The rear brakes locked up in an intersection as a result of sensor failure and I narrowly avoided a serious accident. This has happened twice. Each time when a sensor failed.”
