“My car was going 70 on the interstate and the reduced engine power signal came on and my car jerked and started powering down. It was a throttle body issue. Now my cars electrical system won't work, and electronic stability control won't work because of small magnets that had poor design. My car windows don't open. The electrical system shuts of while the car is driving and I can't see my steering panel at all.”

“Water drain from moon roof separated and water fluid ed the vehicle short in out many components. Took in for service had to pay $1900. This should have been covered I feel that this repair should have been completed at no cost to me. Being that there were at least five other vehicles in the same dealer repair shop at the same time. Spoke to the technician repairing the car before mine and was told he knew actually what the problem was. …”

“While I was driving at a speed of 50 MPH the reduced engine power signal came on and it started to lose power and powered down to 18mph and would not go any faster causing me to almost get rear ended, I had took in to repair shop right away, they put it on the scanner and told me that I it was a throttle body issue so I got that fixed the next day the check engine light came on again so I took it back and then they said the timing chain needed to be fixed and then they said to look and see if it was a recalled issue because with only 102,000 miles I had researched and I see a lot of…”

NHTSA complaint #11306991, filed 2020-02, 102,302 miles

“I took my 2010 SRX into dealership due to a loud roaring noise and vibration in the vehicle at 50-60 MPH. Dealership advised that tires needed to be replaced and vehicle aligned. Tires had less than 30,000 miles on them. All tires were replaced and vehicle aligned ($1000.00+). Approximately 2 - 3 weeks later, I noticed a loss of power in the vehicle when trying to accelerate. Additionally, while stopped at a stop sign or light, vehicle sputtered and shook like it was going to die. This happened on several different occasions. Stability trac light come on during this time but then went out. 05. …”

NHTSA complaint #10715110, filed 2015-05, 70,000 miles

“The vehicle switches to stabilitrac and ABS at the same time causing the engine to not shift into the next gear. This causes the transmission to be over ram and I have to stop the vehicle completely and put it into sport mode and manually shift the gears in order for it to shift gears. The vehicle is in motion at the time of transmission not shifting correctly into the next RPM.”
