“Power steering hose leak, had dealer remove, replace. I was covered under warranty purchase, also tail lights and headlights inoperable, had dealer perform safety inspection. Items corrected. Recent purchase jan. 2016 used.”
NHTSA complaint #10838511, filed 2016-02, 88,500 miles“The active handling applies itself with normal non aggressive driving. When activated the brakes apply and lock up, this has happened in low speed turns at intersections and even when driving straight. I have had the vehicle to the dealership to resolve as this is a major safety concern leaving the car locked up in the middle of an intersection. They stated it was the sensor behind the steering wheel and they fixed it but the problem still persists. …”
NHTSA complaint #11626781, filed 2024-11“Dt: the contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that the bolster in the vehicle was built too high and it was wearing out. The contact owns a 2003 Corvette, and they modified the bolster for him in that car by lowering it. They cannot modify the bolster in the 2005 model because of the air bags. The vinyl on the bolster is paper thin, and when he gets in and out of the vehicle it is wearing the vinyl out. The dealership has already replaced the bolster once, and it needed to be replaced again. The contact has owned the vehicle less than six months.”
