“Like everyone else w/ a 2000 Impala I have faulty, non-working turn signals all the way to the major problems of the intake gasket problem to the most severe - the problem of the car stalling while driving or sitting at a light. And no one can pin pointe the actual problem. My car used to just stall out at least once or twice a day while driving. Now the car has given up and I'm about to too. It starts when it wants... I wish life worked that way but it doesn't. Today I decided to research recalls on the car and found out everyone has the problems I do but chevy has not taken care of anyone. …”

She did not know whether she could talk to the dealer about the problem, but will get in touch with the dealer tomorrow. The brakes were repaired at the dealership. The brakes pulsated when they were applied the trunk light was inoperative.”

NHTSA complaint #10080069, filed 2004-07, 32,600 miles

“Musty smell coming from air conditioning. Also, the steering wheel makes a weird noise when turning. The turn signals will go ballistic at times, flickering faster and faster. The inside lights also flicker at different intensities.”

NHTSA complaint #10048920, filed 2003-11, 33,150 miles

“Engine will cut off or stall without warning while traveling at any speed. Dealership has examined vehicle numerous times and has been unable to effectively remedy the problem. Armrest cup holder broke. Blower motor whistling, belt making noise. When applying brakes car shimmies, front rotors are out of round. When using A/C vehicle fills up with fuel smell, fan motor bearing worn, dealer replaced. Dashlights illuminated. Vehicle experiences hard start condition, dealer replaced wiring harness. …”
