I managed to get the car to a stop and I restarted the ignition. I pulled off and sat in a lot for a few minutes. The next day I had the same problem while merging onto a main highway.”

I wasn't sure what happened because I was sitting inside the car and there was snow on the windshield. The most recent time occurred while I was actually driving my vehicle on the road. Luckily I was on a residential street blocks away from my home and not on the highway in the middle of nowhere.”

NHTSA complaint #10279508, filed 2009-08, 140,000 miles

“I have a 2000 Impala that does not have traction control. It has a no start problem. It won't turn over and I have to sit there anywhere from 10 to 30 mins waiting for this piece of crap to start. I think somebody needs to make GM recall these cars to fix them. Its time to put the consumer first and not these money hungry corporations like general motors!!!”
