Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I got my car on 03/09/2011. I have been complaining to the dealership about the issues I am having with my car. It hesitates to crank, when turning I can feel a popping feeling in the steering. Very often my signal lights doesn't come on. I do a lot of highway driving back and forth to work and this is very dangerous. When hitting my breaks the car sometimes speeds up before slowing down, which can be very dangerous. There is a shortage in the wiring. The low coolant level light stays on, even though they claim they fixed some sensor switch. …”

NHTSA complaint #10417124, filed 2011-08, 85,000 miles

“Headlamps and interior lighting appeared to have a short in them. Have been traveling at night at 55 MPH and dimmed the lights for oncoming traffic when all lights except the fog lights completely went out. Continuous fiddling with switches finally made them come back on. Also, lights will not always come on at night without continuous fiddling with switches. Occurs 5 days out of 7 in every week.”

NHTSA complaint #10193728, filed 2007-06, 112,000 miles

“While driving on a two lane highway dashboard lights and head lights went out without. The consumer hit the dimmer switch and the lights came back on. The occurred again before the vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer replaced a module in the steering column. Thus far, the failure had not recurred.”

NHTSA complaint #10097575, filed 2004-11, 53,519 miles

“Car would not start changed passlock and still will not start. Security light is on, radio is locked and the chevy dealership does not know what is wrong with it, they are guessing that is the bcm and the sdm but they cannot promise that it will work.”
