“When I first purchased the truck, I noticed a week later that the driver's heated seat would not stay on, while depressing the button. It illuminated but went off as soon as I released it. Consequently, no heat to driver's seat. Passenger seat heated and still heats properly. I notified dealer, but did not dignose the problem. But it did not bother me. I figured it may work later. Not until july 2013 did I notice the power seat motor continued to run when I shut off engine. So I tap the latch on the side of the seat to listen for motor to quit. …”
NHTSA complaint #10627378, filed 2014-08, 139,000 miles“I have a 2004 chevy SILVERADO 1500 ss, the driver's power seats, driver and passenger heated seats, and mirror dimmer's lose all power. They were working 30% of the time. I took it into the the dealership, they said the wire harness melted and would cost $500.00 to fix, they can't determine why it melted. They left the harness unplugged because it left in, it would cause further damage to the airbags. My drives side aribag will not inflate if needed until replaired. I called GM - Chevrolet to make a complaint saying this is a safet issue and nothing due to human error. …”
NHTSA complaint #10312477, filed 2010-02, 65,000 miles“Occasionally upon turning key the driver seat clicks as if trying to adjust. Very little to no movement occurs. No action taken to date. This has occurred numerous times, though sporadically.”
