2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Fuel system Problems

“Vehicle stalled while drive down the road nearly causing an accident. Would not start again. Dealership diagnosed the problem as the fuel pump control module, this issue had been addressed in bulletin no: 14514b, but it was labeled as VIN specific because my VIN does not fall into this specific range there was no recall issued even though the issue I experienced is the exact same issue.”

“When I try starting the truck it makes a clicking sound like it wants to turn over and then won't. Sometimes it never happens and other times it may take three or four times of trying to get it to start before it will. The service engine light came on and continued to stay on. Took it to a chevy dealer and was placed on the diagnostic computer and I was told codes found were po174 and po171. Smoke test was performed on evap system and induction system. “A code po138,p0011 on my truck with 132678 miles on it, and it shifts hard into gear after stopping, if I drive it for like 2 or 3 miles or idle for 5-10 minutes,the stabilizing light will come no then go off after about five or ten minutes,beep and everything works fine, but engine light comes on,but self reset on restart and I've change the camshaft position sensor, brake switch, exchange number 8th injection, negative and positive battery cables, with grounding straps, ignition switch truck's key wouldn't turn off, air bag warning light lit and traction control off, this comes and go…”

“Just had someissues with the differebtial on my 07 SILVERADO 1500 lt the problem being is the bolt the goes througn the pin that hold spider gears in place broke off chewd the pin up preety godod was a temporary fix finally was able to fix it proper afte it started again did not have 1500.00 dollars laying to rebuild it found a good used one with low miles on just swaped it out the cost for all about $500.00 this is a problem that should be looked in to and general motors needs to recall these vehicle to fix it being a a common problem could have causeed me major wreck or someone else was…”

“I just bought a used 2006 SILVERADO 1500 from a dealer. Went home with a full tank of gas, week later went to fill it up and the needle stopped halfway between 3/4 and full and it would not let me put it in. Truck had 14650 miles on it when it started and now has 16450. Still under warranty and has been to the dhop 6 times and they have replaced every part of the fuel system and still no better. The next step is to bring a GM rep in to determine what is wrong.”
