“I have a short in my fuel pump flow control module. It causes my car to stall while while in operation, check engine light comes on, sometimes it doesn't start, etc. This issue has haunted me for about a year now. I found a recall bulletin from GM; #14515b. This is the exact part # and issue that I'm having but my VIN # isn't part of the recall. Is it possible that my VIN was missed?”

NHTSA complaint #11064065, filed 2018-01, 149,000 miles

“2008 Chevrolet SILVERADO 1500, airbag sensor and check engine light came on with out accident or incident. We called GM and they told us to take it to a dealer. We took to the dealer we bought the truck from new. They ran diagnostic testing and it came back evaporative emission sensor and inflatable restraint front sensor were bad. As a safety/emissions problem it should have been covered under warranty. They gave us a $600 bill in which we made them call the GM representative. They then had us pay $250. 2 1/2 years later and airbag sensor light is back on without accident. …”
