“The airbag light on the dash came on today 10/15/2020 while driving to the store and the airbag is a takata airbag and scared it my deploy and cause serious injury or death.I've did research about the defect but no remedy was given.didnt receive a letter in the mail from the manufacturer to take the vehicle to fix it.”
NHTSA complaint #11364477, filed 2020-10, 188,266 miles“Takata recall.....received air bag notice last year, and told me I would receive notice when to contact dealership. Current card from tk holdings suggested I contace dealership. I contacted dealership (11/30/2017) where I purchased the vehicle and they said there is no remedy available. When one is available, takata will send me a notice.....lol....now what???”

My letter from GM stated that GM was working on the issue and that I would be contacted when there was a resolution. I was also told an option was to not have anyone sit in the front passenger seat. Again, it has been almost 2 years. Gm has failed to provide me with a resolution in a timely manner.”

Now there's a continuous noise behind the steering wheel , and I'm afraid of the air bags deploying by themselves , while I'm driving in the freeways or highways . This accident happen while stopped at a stop light .”
