“The engine has a ticking noise like a lifter out of adjustment. I'm told this is normal its a ticking fuel pump for the fuel injectors. I think GM is better than that and can figure out how to quite it down. If there engineers can't figure it GM should consider finding some that can! The next time I buy a GM product it will need to be quite if not I'll brake a family tradition for 80 years and buy another brand.”
NHTSA complaint #11096396, filed 2018-05, 75 miles“There has been loss of power braking at low speeds. The brake pedal has a vibrating feel as it is pressed. The pedal will go down all the way to the floor with very little braking power. I took my truck in for the recall work for the same issue which had no effect. I had a prior problem with a fuel injector going out with less than 50,000 miles on the truck. This caused loss of power in situations where power is needed such as merging on to a freeway. This is a very dangerous situation where someone could be killed. …”
NHTSA complaint #11289513, filed 2019-12, 54,000 miles“Quoted gas mileage for v6 model was 25/19, I am only getting 19 miles per gallon. I chose the v6 due to better gas milage but I'm getting less milage than the v8 model.”
NHTSA complaint #10876297, filed 2016-06, 2,543 miles“Fuel injectors causing cylinder misfire - this issue can be very hazardous to the safety of driver and others. First noticed on highway going straight. Then again next morning, vehicle would not start. The date occurred is not exact, but close.”
NHTSA complaint #11122040, filed 2018-08, 49,000 miles“Fuel system is going bad have to replace fuel injectors at 90,000 miles. Keep a check engine light on and makeing cyl 6 misfire. Replace all of the spark plugs and wires and still not fix.”
