“Had a flat tire on my light duty truck equipped with trailering capability. Truck spare tire is rated for temporary use only and slightly smaller than the tires on the truck. If the temporary use tire is on the front axle while towing a trailer at a speed if 55mph is it safe in an emergency braking situation ? Is the majority of weight now on the front axle? Gm told me the spare is 17 1/2' the regular tires are 18' the owners manual alert the owner not to use 4wd because of a smaller tire. Is it safe ? …”

NHTSA complaint #11092369, filed 2018-05, 19,000 miles

“Due to the excessive braking necessary and the uneven braking that this vehicle has been recalled twice since sept. 2019, I have been experiencing excessive and uneven brake and tire wear. I have told the dealer multiple times since leasing this vehicle that it did not ride right and the steering wheel would shake every time I used the brakes. It always feels like I have to slam the brakes to even slow down. They fixed one recall and do not yet have the fix for my model year, for the second. The dealer has notes that I needed brake repair at 29,000 miles, but they did not inform me. …”
