“When using the air conditioner it sometimes blows very hot air. Now that it is cold out when using the heater it sometimes blows ice cold air. If this happens I have to stop, turn off my vehicle, then when I restart the vehicle it does the right thing. Some times I have to do this more then once to get it to work. I got a recall notice a while back but the dealer said it is only for when it smells like smoke. Guess they want me to have an electrical fire before they will fix it.”

NHTSA complaint #10789527, filed 2015-11, 140,000 miles

“While running the AC while driving or stopped, the AC temperature would automatically switch to warm air. This is with the AC button push on with the unit working properly. If you shut the car off and back on again it would reset and work again. But shorty after it would do it again and again”

“Dt: the speedometer will not register correctly. This has not worked for a week. Took it to the dealer and the dealer said it is not covered on warranty. Called GM and they said the it was not covered on warranty and the dealer would have a fee. Have not tried to fix the problem because of he feels the vehicle has a safety defect and GM won't cover it.”
