“My 2019 chevy Tahoe has given me carbon monoxide poisoning in the cabin of the car while driving. I had a portable co detector pick up co and I had co in my blood at the hospital multiple times and received treatment.”
NHTSA complaint #11363798, filed 2020-10, 28,000 miles“Car is a little over 18 months old and AC problem just like other tahoes same problem but this time all coils are on back order and no date for replacement it is summer and can not use truck price to fix will be over 1000 to replace coil and refill with new r1234 freon the freon cost more than the part I feel chevy did not fix the problem form the last recall.”
NHTSA complaint #11331496, filed 2020-06, 50,000 miles“90k miles on my 2019 Tahoe. Mechanic said I need a new transmission?? What are my options. My VIN isn’t showing a recall. How can GM get away with this issue and not replace???”
NHTSA complaint #11665171, filed 2025-06“The a/c compressor on my 2019 Tahoe with 60,000 miles no longer works. It will not blow cold air out and was not discovered until it was super hot outside. This should not be happening to a vehicle that I've had less than 5 years and with the average amount of miles on. Since Bumper to bumper warranty is now only 3years or 36,000 miles it is also out of warranty, leaving me to fix on my own dime. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone other than myself. There were no warning lamps or messages or symptoms prior.”
NHTSA complaint #11586355, filed 2024-05“Transmission went out right at 70,000 miles!! I purchased my truck Jan 2021 certified from a chevy dealership. I have the app and everything connected to my phone. Not once did I ever get notified that anything was wrong. My truck has been broken down for a month now. I look up info to found out there's a whole lawsuit for our Transmissions!! How was this not a recall item?? The warranty won't cover it which is absolutely ridiculous. So now I'm out of a truck. With a huge bill to replace my Transmission. …”
