“Our car doesn't even have 100k miles and lost all power while driving to the speedometer as well as radio, lights, etc... We even took it to a mechanic who is also having troubles figuring it out. Paid over $500 to have them change the bcm and ignition switch still having issues to the point it will not start.”

NHTSA complaint #11407296, filed 2021-04, 85,000 miles

“My car has been in the shop for 7 weeks. I've spent $6,000 having the engine rebuilt as there was cylinder 7 misfire. However, after all this I'm still getting the same error codes and they now believe its electrical and the whole car needs to be re-wired. When it broke down originally, it was in neutral in a car wash...”

NHTSA complaint #11084646, filed 2018-04, 149,000 miles

“While driving my 2007 chev Tahoe today, while in motion, the stabilitrak warning came up on my dash along with traction control warning. Then the engine started struggling. I googled these problems and it appears GM recalled models from 2014 and 2015 with the same issues. They need to recall all impacted models. If this causes the engine to lose power, it could cause a dangerous situation.”

NHTSA complaint #11154116, filed 2018-11, 138,000 miles

“My tire monitoring system went out and now my keyless entry remote does not work. This same thing has happened to my daughter's and her husband's vehicle that he drives for work and they are all 2007 Chevrolet tahoes. This is quite an expensive repair and I feel that 3 people that own the same make model and year that something must be faulty.”

NHTSA complaint #10723408, filed 2015-06, 105,000 miles

“Truck will not start at times, have been to the dealer multiple times and they cannot find a problem. This has happened in a previous chevy Tahoe 2007 lt that I owned prior and the dealer could not find the problem. It 50% of the time will start up if I allow it to sit for moment, at other times I have to jump it. It currently has new battery, which did not help the problem.”
