“While driving my 2007 chev Tahoe today, while in motion, the stabilitrak warning came up on my dash along with traction control warning. Then the engine started struggling. I googled these problems and it appears GM recalled models from 2014 and 2015 with the same issues. They need to recall all impacted models. If this causes the engine to lose power, it could cause a dangerous situation.”

“Takata recall airbag light is on. My 07 chevy Tahoe burns 1 quart of oil every 1000-1500 miles? Dealer told me this is normal ?????? It is not normal for any vehicle to burn this much oil in such little time!! Chevy won't correct these problems! There are thousands of people with same troubles. Yet still no recall?????”

NHTSA complaint #10970870, filed 2017-04, 60,000 miles

“I have 3 issues . Low power which read a lot of people have the same issue (bad torque converter).bad oil loss. Which everyone seems to have .which the won't fix . Transmission slipping which everyone is having and is not the transmission it's electrical. I was told to send a complaint in to you guys. I have read alot on this car and these are very common problems with the 07 Tahoe and I have all 3.”

NHTSA complaint #10700771, filed 2015-03, 169,000 miles

“Oil consumption of at least a quart between oil changes, misfiring at idle causing check engine light, stability track control service light. Chevrolet tells me there is not even 1 service bulletin or recall notice on my Tahoe.”

NHTSA complaint #10704686, filed 2015-04, 142,331 miles

“I purchased my 2007 Tahoe to be the last car I would need to buy as I am near retirement. I am very worried now that it will need some major repairs to correct the oil consumption. Chevrolet should cover these repairs as it is obvious there is a design problem with the engine and thousands of users have this problem. For the enormous cost of the vehicle I expected better. I should have kept my old 1998 Tahoe. It probably would still be running and wouldnt need oil between oil changes.”
