“Transmission is not shifting and I see that tens of thousands of people are with the same problem on the particularly SUV 2007 chevy Tahoe this transmission should be a recall or at least fix it with a low price of less than $500 so we can keep buying these trucks”

NHTSA complaint #11003592, filed 2017-07, 58,938 miles

“I have 3 issues . Low power which read a lot of people have the same issue (bad torque converter).bad oil loss. Which everyone seems to have .which the won't fix . Transmission slipping which everyone is having and is not the transmission it's electrical. I was told to send a complaint in to you guys. I have read alot on this car and these are very common problems with the 07 Tahoe and I have all 3.”

NHTSA complaint #10700771, filed 2015-03, 169,000 miles

“I was driving in the snow going 5mph and the tires began to spin. The car was in automatic for 4 wheel drive but did not kick into 4 wheel drive so I slid off the road. I was off road on a slight incline and the car wouldnt go into 4 wheel drive. It said service 4 wheel drive and the knob will turn but the 4 wheel drive will not activate. Nothing happened other than the car not going to 4 wheel drive when the knob has been turned.”

NHTSA complaint #10690749, filed 2015-02, 125,000 miles

“Truck rolls back when on incline even while in park, and it does not stop, I also noted truck would not go into v$ mode and was shifting a little rough in lower gears. July of 2008 took to bob stall Chevrolet for oil change and asked for it to be checked (as well as power system) returned to pick up my vehicle and they insisted tranny was fine as there were no error codes. …”

NHTSA complaint #10257642, filed 2009-02, 29,000 miles

“After approximately 3 weeks after purchasing I notice a noise and a delay in gear shifts so I took it to the dealership and they had their mechanic look at it and came up with the transmission was bad so they ordered one and tried to install it and when I went to pick it up and drove it several days the same problem was there so I took it back and they continued to try and fix it two other times within 3 months now saying I went over my 10,000 miles so I need to pay for the transmission. I drive the car maybe 5 months and the other months it has been in the shop.”
