NHTSA complaint #10948834, filed 2017-02, 85,000 miles

“The vehicle is a 2009 chevy Tahoe ltz. At about 9000 miles the vehicle started to have problems. When you first started the vehicle and drove it and had to stop in the first 1/2 mile or so, when you tried to accelerate the vehicle would jump forward and then lockup and the engine would die. It didn't matter if it was 30 degrees or 60 degrees out. It happened everytime the stop had to be done. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they said there were no codes so nothing could be wrong, GM was contacted and the dealership called back and had me leave the Tahoe there. …”

“I purchased the gm sts2 software and program my truck and now I have no brakes, have all lights on with calibration and rams problem I’m sure that the calibration they provided to me, costed this problem and none off the lights are turning off, the truck lost brakes I have to stand on the paddle to stop the truck. Now I have no choice to send it the GM for there mistake. I spoke to acdelco sts2 rep. And he couldn’t figure out the problem. And the hybrid system issue also. Both front air bag impact sensors cracks in the middle turns the light on. That’s been a fault with all gm trucks. …”
