“Headlights went out driving them came back on then off again. Went to the dealer for known recall 14291 and said my specific Trailblazer is not listed for the recall. This is very dangerous as I was driving in the dark for many miles. I should be reimbursed for any fixes as GM knows there is a problem not sure why it's only to specific trailblazers and not all from 2006-2007”

NHTSA complaint #11123152, filed 2018-08, 153,000 miles

“While driving down the highway at night the headlights just went out almost went off road because it happened on a slight turn to the right. Luckily it was a median divided road and I was in the left lane so I was able to pull over and stop. They came back on after about ten minutes of sitting while looking under hood and everywhere else trying to remedy the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10747245, filed 2015-08, 161,540 miles

“I was driving down the road after dark, in fairly busy traffic and all of a sudden I had no headlights, the low beams are not working.. I quickly pulled over to check but still no headlights.. Luckily no one was hurt but the situation was very dangerous. Have there been others with this same problem? Thank you!”

NHTSA complaint #10669966, filed 2015-01, 111,000 miles

“My low beam headlights will just turn off while driving at night, but the high beams will continue to work. Very scary at night, I almost went into the ditch the first time it happened. They do come back on after a cool down period. Replaced the relay, but continues to just turn off at times. While researching this online, I found this to be a common problem with the Trailblazer.”

NHTSA complaint #10575925, filed 2014-03, 98,000 miles

“While driving during the day all of the speakers started going in and out. This has happened for the last year. As of now only the very front dash speakers are audible but very faint. The other issue we're having is at night the headlights will completely go out. We will immediately have to pull over and wait for the car to decide when the lights will come back on.”
