“When turn the car off and remove the key from the ignition, there are two speakers that continue to make static noise, whether I have opened the door or not. If I bump or hit the center console it will make the speakers louder or turn off. The check engine light is on for multiple codes, and I have worn out shocks. The shocks should make me feel as if I am gliding, bur I feel and jerk to every bump.”

NHTSA complaint #11317442, filed 2020-03, 185,000 miles

“I was driving to work and all of sudden I had no gas peddle and my SUV came to a stop. I had it towed to a shop and was told my ignition switch went. I called GM today was told my SUV wasn't part on the recall but they have been getting calls about trailblazers and could be in the future. Something needs to be done about not doing a complete list right up front.”

NHTSA complaint #10622457, filed 2014-08, 70,000 miles

“While driving during the day all of the speakers started going in and out. This has happened for the last year. As of now only the very front dash speakers are audible but very faint. The other issue we're having is at night the headlights will completely go out. We will immediately have to pull over and wait for the car to decide when the lights will come back on.”

NHTSA complaint #10522950, filed 2013-07, 65,000 miles

“While driving down the road I smelled plastic burning then I saw some smoke.. I had to pull over and pulled the master window controls out of door to find it had caught fire and is now inoperable. I see there is a recall but I recently purchased the vehicle and would like to know how to have this situation taken care of.”

NHTSA complaint #10556950, filed 2013-12, 102,000 miles

“Recall for faulty fuse or connection in the driver's side door that could malfunction if the wiring became wet and cause an electrical problem. I was notified by regular mail from Chevrolet in or around 2013. In approximately 2015, there was a short in a fuse in the driver's side door after a rainstorm. The power window malfunctioned and did not work. The following morning the window functioned normally again. I have had no trouble with the window or the door since that time.”
