“My family and I was I involved in a hit and run accident. My minor child is still suffering from shoulder/rotator cuff injuries. Hewas in the process to start conditioning for football. The seatbelt on the day of the accident did not lock. GM sent a criminal investigator not a trained engineer for the vehicle. The seatbelts needs to be inspected. The motor/transmission is making a ticking sound.”

NHTSA complaint #11716389, filed 2026-02

“When I shift my vehicle into park and hit the button to shut it off, a shift to park message appears on the DIC screen. I then am required to start my vehicle again, shift into gear, and then put it back into park and attempt to shut the vehicle off again. It has taken me up to 15 minutes to be able to get it to recognize that my vehicle is in park and for the message to not pop up. If I get out of the car while the message is still on the DIC screen, I cannot lock my vehicle and it drains the battery. …”

“I have noticed that when it's very cold, the vehicle will not shift to the two highest gears (I think) until 20+ minutes into my trip, and that's with having auto-started the vehicle 10 minutes prior to getting in it. So it takes about 30 minutes for the vehicle to shift into whatever the two highest (I think) gears are. This morning, 20+ minutes into my trip, I was going 71mph while pushing 4,000rpms, and it wouldn't shift. The temperature outside is 1 degree fahrenheit. The same thing was happening when it was cold in December. That day I don't think it got above 0 degrees fahrenheit.”

NHTSA complaint #11508665, filed 2023-02

“The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that after shifting into park(P), there was an abnormal beeping sound coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact shifted into neutral(N) and then back into park(P) to stop the beeping sound. The contact stated that while the vehicle was shut off and in park(P); the gear shifter independently shifted out of park(P) into reverse(R). The vehicle did not move backwards; however, the contact was able to shift back to the park(P) without further failures. …”

NHTSA complaint #11697910, filed 2025-11, 40,000 miles

“Repeat issues with the transmission, ongoing issue for about two months. Initially experienced the vehicle not shifting in drive or reverse, which was resolved in drive. The issue persists when in reverse, where I will put it in gear but it will rev without moving, as if the vehicle is in neutral . The dealership has replaced the valve body three times and is now awaiting other parts to attempt to resolve the issue.”
