“When I accelerate from 45 to 60 miles per hour my whole truck vibrates and it feels like the engine is seizing but if I accelerate more or reduce my speed it goes away. I was researching online and found out I wasnt the only one in the country that has this problem. I was just thinking of everyone's safety including my own.”
NHTSA complaint #10983428, filed 2017-05, 326,000 miles“I have a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer with 75,000 miles on it. With no warning, my transmission went out. The car is well cared for and regularly serviced. Our local dealership explained that I had no power train warranty, and that they do not repair the transmission. The cost to me for a new transmission would be $2720.31. Updated 10/27/10.”
NHTSA complaint #10334082, filed 2010-06, 75,000 miles“Crashed straight into the back end of a vehicle doing 60 while I was doing atleast 80, or 85, maybe more, I don't remember. The first thing I remember seeing is realizing I'm alright despite the blood in the cockpit and on my face despite sneezing which was spreading blood. Is this a vehicle defect or what? My math says that crashing at 85mph into a vehicle doing 60 is like crashing into a brick wall at 25mph. …”
NHTSA complaint #10496767, filed 2013-02, 146,000 miles“Normal driving, I noticed some liquid spots on the driveway. After inspecting, I found that the transmission oil cooling line is corroded through, leaking transmission fluid. My Chevrolet Trailblazer has less than 60000 miles and is 5 years old. One line is clean, the other is corroded beyond repair. Transmission oil cooling lines have to be replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #10279853, filed 2009-08, 58,000 miles“I am not sure what is wrong with this car! I have had it at the mechanic several times. He has replaced some sensors but the car still...putters..putters.. And putters......help!!! The car jerks, putters and sometimes dies while driving!”
