“Nov.2013 was the frist time we had a proplem, right after that the oil gauge was not working. On an off we have noticed other type of problem that seem to be electrical. For the last year \year an half my gas is all over the place, always stopping to get gas as not to give out. Also, my gear and mileage gauge does not work. Now have no idea when to change the oil or rotate tires”
NHTSA complaint #11001457, filed 2017-06, 75,000 miles“My car has shut down while idling at a stop sign or red light. The first time was in 2006, but has happened several times since then. I've taken it to the dealership, but they said that they couldn't see anything wrong with my vehicle. I believe that my fuel gauge is inaccurate. It showed empty, and, then 1/4 tank. The rear wiper sweeps without being turned on.”
NHTSA complaint #10608262, filed 2014-07, 8,000 miles“I just purchased this vehicle yesterday from a dealership. They filled the gas tank up before I drove it off the lot because, they said, the gas gauge isn't working. I was looking up what it could be and noticed there was a lot of people with complaints of this, 668 people. I suppose I'm the 669th person. There wasn't a recall that I could find, but investigations were being done?”
NHTSA complaint #10563601, filed 2014-02, 170,784 miles“My gas gauge had begun acting up. It would say empty even when filled. I would fill it up and the gauge would go to half then back up to full. I did not know for sure how much gas was in the vehicle. I was driving and the car stalled out because it ran out of gas even tho the gauge said full and I was rear ended.”
NHTSA complaint #10637668, filed 2014-09, 42,000 miles“I went to gas station and filled up my gas tank. When I left the gas station, my fuel light was on showing my gas tank was empty. Over the next several months, the gas gage would go up and down and not show the correct amount of gas. Now, it always shows empty with the gas light on. This is an issue not knowing how much gas I have at any time.”
