“I have antifreeze in the engine it has been leaking fluid. I took it to a shop and they told me the antifreeze is in the engine and I needed a new engine. I also put a power steering pump in because the car was having issues turning two years into me having the SUV. I bought the SUV in 2015. It has been ine issue after another.”

NHTSA complaint #11183667, filed 2019-03, 100,000 miles

“When you turn a corner, park in a parking spot, back up the power steering goes out. Anytime you turn the wheel the power steering goes out. It will cost over $2,000.00 to fix this issue. I have never had a vehicle lose power steering when you turn the wheel. I do not believe my vehicle is an isolated incident.”

NHTSA complaint #11124704, filed 2018-09, 120,000 miles

“When making left or right turns the steering wheel will stiffen making completing turns very difficult. A couple of times I had to make complete stops to avoid hitting vehicles or going into a ditch. I also noticed the steering stiffening while making slight turns while driving at normal highway speed. This is seriously putting my family in danger.”

NHTSA complaint #10759299, filed 2015-08, 80,000 miles

“My vehicle is just over 60,000 miles. It needs a new power steering pump (recalled) and now a new steering rack. The vehicle is very difficult to turn in parking lots and on the roads. I thought it just needed a power steering flush and so that was completed at 50,000 miles. That was after I had repaired a 700 engine coolant hose.”

NHTSA complaint #10863606, filed 2016-05, 50,000 miles

“Vehicle was on the highway when I got off the exit the car started making a weird noise . I tried making a right and the car jerked and almost flipped over it's the third time it does this . This is a huge safety concern. I tried fixing the issue all three times and it keeps happening .”
