“Upon starting the car (after sitting in the sun with windows up, so hot cabin), when I shift to any gear out of park, I get an action required shift to park message. The shifter will go to drive, for example, but pressing the gas pedal does not move the car, and I have the message to shift to park. This has happened twice. Both times I rolled down windows, and tried turning the car off and back on again to resolve this. After several rounds of this, the car did shift to drive and would go. …”

On a return trip at dark from cleveland, ohio to rochester, ny on 12-26-16, our engine suddenly gave warning beeps which prompted my husband to pull over to the shoulder on interstate 90 in erie, pa. We had all of 15-20 seconds to get off this heavily trafficked highway when the car literally shut down.. Nothing worked not even the warning flashers. We could not open the trunk, and had we not kept one door open we would not have been able to enter the car. …”

“On multiple occasions (including after alleged repair), the vehicle requested to be placed in park while moving. On two occasions when placed in park the vehicle shift lock engaged and could not be shifted out of park. On one occasion the vehicle surged while driving prior to requesting to be placed in park.
