“Engine shuts off on highway going full speed limit surrounded by heavy traffic. I was terrified. The engine light comes on & can't get car started. Then car starts & engine light goes away. Not to mention transmission is leaking & new transmission was put in 2015. Chrysler can't get me in until 4/19/18 bc its busy season. This may be why windshield wipers come on everytime I turn left.”

NHTSA complaint #11083817, filed 2018-04, 96,000 miles

“I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 that stalls randomly. I have taken it in for service and diagnostic services and no results. The system has absolutely no codes stored in the system. It happens randomly while the vehicle is stationary and in motion. I have seen a lot of complaints with the same thing happening to people. It has left me in extremely dangerous situations many times. I do not feel comfortable or safe driving this car. This needs to be investigated as I have learned it has been affecting years from 2011 to 2016”

NHTSA complaint #11266979, filed 2019-10, 172,000 miles

“Car has been acting funny but parked in a customer parking lot and when I tried to start car it stated severe problem and would not turn over. With my low miles I cant believe that a fuel pump could go.”

NHTSA complaint #10732029, filed 2015-07, 30,306 miles

“4 cylinder 2.7l engine city gas mileage is only 13.5 mpg. My 2012 dodge grand caravan with a 3.6l v-6 gets 15 mpg. The 200 should be getting at least 18-20 mpg. My 2010 toyota corolla gets 23 mpg with the same type of city driving. There are people complaining all over the web about the excessive fuel consumption problem. Chrysler should fix the problem and do a recall. Minimum they should install an eco mode button to bring the mpg up to the advertised mpg. The transmission shift points should be lowered so the engine does not rev to 3000 rpms on every shift. …”

NHTSA complaint #10525017, filed 2013-07, 1,000 miles

“Takata recall power loss hesitation stalls engine light codes p0300 p0306 says cylinder 6 misfire had to go to dealer cause nothing fixes it idle is ok driving it hesitates engine losses power replaced all on code list won't fix has many complaints on this and Chrysler can't figure it out why is it there is not an investigation going on people have to keep paying out of pocket on a defect in the mitsubishi 3.6l flex fuel gas motor”
