“I had a flat tire on the front driver wheel, me and my friends started changing the tire and the jack could not take the weight of the car, and the card fell down even though the jack was under it. I was almost injured. The jack is not suitable for the car, it is very cheap. I have some pictures of it. The jack could not hold the car. Updated 03/12/12”

“After starting my 2006 Pacifica it will stall after I take my foot off the gas. The dealer said my idle air control motor needs replacing. I did some research and found a lot of additional complaints about the same problem and the same part. I think some other vehicles were 2004 but it was the exact same problem and the exact same recommended fix.”

NHTSA complaint #10200867, filed 2007-08, 53,574 miles

“My 06 Chrysler pacific shuts down without warning the lights flash spontaneously a chime or bell sound goes off and there is a popping sound that comes from the speakers. This occurs several times a day. I've contacted a Chrysler dealership about this problem and was told there was no recall on the car. I've researched these issues and found that this complaint is common among numerous Chrysler Pacifica owners. I am not in a position to purchase another vehicle and I haven't owned this one a year. Problem began after owning the vehicle only 4 months.”

NHTSA complaint #10298816, filed 2010-01, 61,000 miles

“I drive a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica touring. I have had issues with the ABS light coming on and off. It does not make a difference the speed I am traveling and when I come to a stop it begins to vibrate and I rearended the people infront of me. I have also had issues with my car stalling for no apparent reason. It is hard to believe that there is not a recall on this particular unit. I have called the dealership and also Chrysler and they said no problems have ever been documented...they need to start checking this site and see that all of the problems are the same.”

NHTSA complaint #10302509, filed 2010-01, 50,000 miles

The contact stated that she lost consciousness as she could not remember went occurred in detail. A professional removed her from the vehicle. The contact sustained head and neck injuries. The contact stated that she went to the hospital after the incident. The contact stated that a police report was filed. The vehicle was towed from the scene and later deemed a total loss. …”
