“When I had my car in to fix a front end problem last year I was told two of the three motor mounts need to be replaced. Now when having a tie rod replaced I am told subframe brackets are rotted and need to be replaced. A car that is five years old should not be rotting from normal driving. Engine mounts on a car should not go after four years.”
NHTSA complaint #10433388, filed 2011-09, 85,000 miles“My car seats move while I am driving automatically. With my seat belt on sometimes I cant touch the pedals. Also, my car is stalling and it eats oil nonstop. I have had it checked and nothing is shown as wrong. I see there was a recall for this model and it was done so why is this still happening. Seat issue is very dangerous, I have to drive and hold the button forward on the door to stop it from moving.”
NHTSA complaint #10645068, filed 2014-10, 150,000 miles“Went to start up my wife's 06 Chrysler Pacifica and the engine was making a ticking noise. I then looked up the information on line to come to my surprise this is a problem in the 3.5 Pacifica. I even tried the heavy oil fix and still no luck. Chrysler need to fix this problem. I change my oil every 3000 miles with synthetic like clock work. This might be my last Chrysler product.”
NHTSA complaint #10396422, filed 2011-04, 76,104 miles“Broken motor mounts and axle. Abs sensors had to replace battery and both headlights all before 50000 miles. 2006 Chrysler Pacifica is a safety hazard and I don't know why these motor mounts have not been recalled. Furthermore motor mounts on 2 month back order unable to fix so putting more stress on my car needing more repairs.”
NHTSA complaint #10267763, filed 2009-05, 45,000 miles“I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica touring with around 40k miles. These days I have heard the ticking noise from engine. I tried to fix this problem from many mechanics, but they can not fix it. The noise makes me crazy. I could not find anything wrong. Furthermore, many mechanics could not find what is the problem.”
