“Front suspension cross-member-sub frame totally rusted out, car has 86,000 miles on it, was garage kept a lot, car is in good shape and sub frame is only thing rusted out, parts around it looks new, look at picture, this should be a recall or Chrysler should pay for it,never seen anything rust like this,very dangerous driving like this”
NHTSA complaint #11361080, filed 2020-09, 86,000 miles“Chrysler Sebring 2002, 4-door sedan, v6. Both upper rear strut mounts have failed during driving and the car is now undrivable. Local dealerships have waiting list for replacement parts. Dealership where vehicle was purchased cannot get part from Chrysler nor is there an aftermarket part available. The dealership will not offer rental car or remedy since vehicle is out of warranty. Chrysler should be issuing a recall based on the number of dealer vehicles waiting for repair!!! Updated 02/19/10. Updated 07/19/10”
