“When turning any direction or hitting speeds of 75 mph +, vehicle makes loud noise and starts shaking. Took it to an independent mechanic and ran a diagnostic, they said the rear differential is going out which isn't normal for vehicles with this mileage and said it was a manufacturer defect. When I took the vehicle to a Ford dealership, the tech laughed and said there's a one month wait for parts and 15 other Broncos in front of me dealing with the same issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11761898, filed 2026-09“I am not quite familiar with the name of the lights on the bottom of my vehicle they sometimes come on and sometimes they do not. When I back up it sounds like my tires are rubbing against something and when I pull forward it sounds the same.”
NHTSA complaint #11667017, filed 2025-06“There is a repeating clicking noise (click, click, click…) every time I turn the steering wheel. It only occurs when it’s above 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Any problem related to the steering, or turning of the vehicle is a safety concern in my opinion. Ford forces the owner to make a service appointment to get the problem inspected (I could not just drive to a dealership). The earliest I could schedule an appointment at one of the three nearest dealerships to me is a week from the day I’m writing this complaint. …”
NHTSA complaint #11476738, filed 2022-07“First the battery was drained and needed replaced. Then message on center navigation screen displays “System Off to Save Battery. Please turn ignition off or start engine” when entering the car before trying to start it. Then I was notified of a recall that needed to be done. …”
NHTSA complaint #11639365, filed 2025-01“The steering has developed a clicking/wind up noise while turning around 4000 miles. The vehicle is available for inspection. The vehicle was brought to the dealer twice. The noise was able to be heard, and seems to be an issue with a few bronco sports on their lot. The dealer noted “operating normally””
