“Excursion was bought 7-01 approximately 3months after purchase head lamp switch broke off. Took truck into dealer and was told this was not covered under warranty and would be 190.00 to fix. Upon research found that the 2000 model Excursion had a recall for this same problem [NHTSA recall no. 01v075/Ford recall no. 01s09] the part no. For the 2000 and 2001 has been replaced. It would be logical to me if the part number for the 2000 Excursion and the 2001 Excursion are the same then they both should be recalled. …”
