“Today as I was driving on perry rd about to turn onto fm 1960 rd e. When I started to accelerate to turn, my transmission down shifted while I'm driving at about 15 miles an hour instead of going up and jerked my car pretty good. I let go of the gas pedal for a second, then tried again slowly. The car started to jerk as if it was struggling to accelerate forward. It did after about 10 seconds. Then the speedometer dropped down to 0 and my digital fuel information that's displayed on my dash dotted out and a screwdriver icon flashed for a few times. …”

Tapping the breaks and hitting the cruise control off switch will temporarily deactivate cruise control but it will reengage without driver engaging cruise control accelerating the car. This has happened multiple times even after turning off and restarting the car (and across multiple days).”

My concern was shrugged off by my salesman, as he said ‘maybe Fords are just like that’. …”

The contact stated that while driving about 65 MPH in the rain, the vehicle flipped over (upside down) and spun without impact and no warning. All the air bags deployed. A police report was filed. The driver and the front passenger sustained minor cuts and bruises and were treated by the paramedics at the scene and released, without going to the emergency center. The vehicle was damaged and was towed to a police impound, waiting for the insurance company. …”
