Example complaints

Electrical system: “2024 ford f150 having identical issue that was covered under recall 23S35. that involves wire harness routing along rear axle. Transmission and drivetrain: “Undetermined what part failed I believe maybe an update. The truck lost all power and began to shift to neutral position at 40 mph on the highway. I was forced to get on the axis road. At 5mph the truck shifted violently to park. Dealership is working on it. The event was recorded on video and pictures. Wrench light showing”

NHTSA complaint #11631160, filed 2024-12

Engine: “February, 2026 — approximately 14,039 miles. The vehicle experienced a breakdown/engine shutdown on a major highway. The truck was towed to a Ford Service Dept and they described it as engine failure and repair throttle body . Vehicle speed control: “While driving on a controlled-access highway, BlueCruise Hands-Free was active. The Adaptive Cruise Control was set to 65 MPH and the vehicle’s recognized speed limit was 65 MPH. My foot was not on the accelerator. The vehicle unexpectedly accelerated beyond the 65 MPH set speed. The vehicle continued accelerating on its own and subsequently reached approximately 82 MPH. At approximately 82 MPH, the instrument cluster showed the cruise setting at approximately 85 MPH while the detected speed limit remained 65 MPH. I did not intentionally increase the cruise set speed to 85 MPH. …”
