Example complaints
Brakes: “While I was driving, I was pressing my brakes and the vehicle would not stop at a stop sign. Then with the brakes pressed all the way down, it was a very elongated stop so this rolled me through the stop sign. Thankfully no cars were coming. It felt as if I was trying to stop on ice. Supposedly this was fixed with an OTA update when the initial recall came out last year.”
NHTSA complaint #11765735, filed 2026-09Transmission and drivetrain: “New 2025 F150 Lariat with 3.5L V-6 Twin-Turbo Full Hybrid. Truck was sitting in garage and off when suddenly a message appeared on the digital speedometer area saying there was a powertrain fault. Truck only had 280 miles. At about 310 miles, service light came on indicating service was due. Checked FordPass app and the on board diagnostic program indicated there was a power train fault detected. …”
NHTSA complaint #11679651, filed 2025-08Electrical system: “Vehicle: 2025 Ford F-150 (VIN and mileage available upon request) Component: Rearview/backup camera display, Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) / SYNC infotainment system (Sync 4 version 25211 revision 1966-same CCPU ver./VMCU version:6.1.42.2) Summary of Problem: The rearview camera display intermittently shows a distorted, glitched, or corrupted image when the vehicle is shifted into Reverse. …”
NHTSA complaint #11762552, filed 2026-09Other or unknown: “I leased this vehicle as new a couple of months ago. The rear view camera was not working. The dealership in West Branch Michigan assured me that they would fix it. Subsequent visits and followup with dealership have been unsuccessful in the fix. During this time I almost ran over my grand daughter when backing up with no rear view camera. Very dangerous. Also any components relying on the rear view camera are also disabled. I beleive Ford has a concern in fixing this problem. It could result in a serious accident with pedistrian.”

100% of the 2 complaints with a mileage were filed for vehicles with under 50,000 miles; the middle half falls between 60 and 6,300 miles.
