Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While I am driving with my pregnant wife in the vehicle the airbag light will illuminate saying that the airbag is off, I have to pull over while driving to have her get out of the vehicle and get back in for the light to turn off. It's a normal street in a development or on the road driving. Different speeds with flat roads, some have bumps others are recently paved asphalt. Happens intermittently, over a dozen times at different speeds. My vehicles VIN doesn't fit the recall for the airbag issue that is already aware by Ford. …”

NHTSA complaint #11310212, filed 2020-02, 35,628 miles

“Trying to retrieve something that had fallen under or beside the front drivers seat. Feeling aroung I sliced one of my fingers on my right hand after reaching only about 2-4 under the seat. I then inspected under both front seats and found knife sharp raw metal areas under both front seats, more under the drivers seat than the passanger seat. Does not appear to be unusual but just a normal happening in the construction process, which causes me much more concern. …”

NHTSA complaint #10725147, filed 2015-06, 9,300 miles

“Ford F-150 2014 had an electrical issue that caused it to go up in flames as I was driving it down the highway at about 60 miles an hour. I first smelled a burning odor, then I looked in my review mirror and saw smoke, then I started seeing flames in the back passenger corner of my back seats. By this time the truck was very smoky but I was able to safely pull aside to the shoulder of the highway. I made an attempt to open my driver's door, but it wouldn't open and I then broke the glass to open the door from inside out. …”

NHTSA complaint #11096947, filed 2018-05, 69,000 miles

“Passenger airbag wire harness too short. When back of seat was moved forward wires broke. Ford dealer tried to say it was operator error, but infact there was no slack on wires to move with seat.”

NHTSA complaint #10703547, filed 2015-04, 2,500 miles

“The rear passenger seats do not lock in place when in the lowered position. The owners manual clearly states that they must lock when lowered to be safe.”
