“The spare tire hoist on our 2001 Ford f250 is jammed and will not pick up the spare tire. There is no safe, suitable place to store the spare tire. Leaving it along the road was not an option and there was no room behind the front seat. Leaving it in the truck bed where it is subject to theft isn't a viable option. Ford was notified, but said that the warranty had expired and that they will not repair the hoist. In the meantime we have an 80lb. Tire and no safe place to keep it.”
