Additionally, the contact stated that her husband had to keep his foot on the brake to keep the vehicle from independently accelerating. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was unknown. The contact stated the vehicle was fine and to delete the complaint. …”
