“My rearview camera is showing a distorted image and then goes blank while in reverse creating a safety issue while backing up. The camera is doing everything listed in the following recall campaigns: 20C19/22V252 20C19/24V188 20C19/20V575 but Ford says my truck does not qualify for the recall because my VIN is not listed in the recall.”

NHTSA complaint #11727398, filed 2026-03

“The 360 camera system on the 2019 f350 is blurry and very difficult to see objects when backing-up. This is an onging problem and the Ford dealer in devine texas tried to fix it one year ago. There is an active recall (Ford 22s51) but the hardware is not avalible yet. Ford needs to be pushed to get this resolved asap as it is a safety issue.”
