“Purchased a 2019 f350 in october of 2018 and starting at 20,000 miles or less vehicle started to violently shake or wobble. This first happen while going down the highway at 58 MPH, and truck steering wheel and truck started to wobble and shake. I pulled over unsure what to do, but nothing seems wrong, as in flat tire, and drive shaft. Over the next few months this continued to happen. I have informed the dealer with no response and our local Ford dealer with no response. At routine maintenance appointment, they acknowledge to complaint but do nothing.”

NHTSA complaint #11341807, filed 2020-07, 20,000 miles

“My new f350 with 6k miles on it starts to shake violently for no reason at all on speeds over 60 MPH and the only way to correct the problem is to slow down to almost a stop. The steering wheel was shaking violently and so was the front of the truck.”

NHTSA complaint #11278134, filed 2019-11, 5,900 miles

“My 2019 Ford F350 fully power stroke deisel super duty started making a terrible grinding and grinding noise when I let off the accelerator. There’s specifically fluid leaking from rear axle in the center where the drive shaft meets the heavy duty Dana M300 axle. And all over the inside rear passenger tire. There’s a burnt gear oil smell coming from the truck as a result and the truck can’t be driven .”

NHTSA complaint #11766850, filed 2026-09

“Wife was driving the truck(I was the passenger) while towing our dump trailer. After approx 100 miles into this trip the dash showed a Reduced Engine Power Warning , and then shuddered. That was immediately followed by a Service Engine Soon warning on the dash, and the truck shut down as we were pulling to the shoulder. I smelled diesel fuel as we slowed to a stop. I got out and saw some smoke coming from under the hood. I looked under the truck and saw burning material falling from underneath, I shouted fire, and my wife exited while I retrieved our dog from the back seat. …”

NHTSA complaint #11760494, filed 2026-08

“The vehicle has approximately 73K miles and approximately 3 months ago the transmission started hard shifting in 2nd gear. There have been several incidents where I have almost had accidents due to this. Ford will not replace the transmission despite the internet being flooded with persons saying they are having the same issue with the same year, make and model.”
