“Driving down the highway at a speed of 70,truck began to vibrate uncontrollably changed lanes. Continue to vibrate uncontrollably in the front of the truck. Pulled safely to side of road. Expected to see flat tires. No flat tires. Turn truck off. Turn truck back on no issues again. I believe this was my first experience with the death wobble.”
NHTSA complaint #11565751, filed 2024-01“My Ford F350 is experiencing the recall deficiency issued by Ford in January 2025 after repeated calls Ford still is unable or unwilling to fix my vehicle. Ford motor company, and the local dealership have told me workarounds could be performed, but they would be done at my expense. A rearview camera on a pick up truck is used often and is a safety hazard when backing up Blind to low objects.”
NHTSA complaint #11683825, filed 2025-08“An unknown electrical issue possibly sensor, module or wiring related causes several faults in the system and they appear on the dash. These faults disable many safety features built in to the vehicle and a few convenience features as well. The faults displayed are: pre-collision assist not available , hill start assist warning , service advance trac and drive mode not available When this happens randomly the vehicle will stop producing forward acceleration and slow down very quickly as if I took my foot off the accelerator. …”
NHTSA complaint #11431466, filed 2021-09“On 7 Aug 2022, I lost cruise control, Navigation function (GPS0 and had problems with other elecrical functions on instrument cluster. I took truck to my local ford dealer; they rand Ford diagnostics on truck and it had 3 module errors listed. They cleared the codes and tried to get me to accept the vehicle. Road tested it and there efforts of clearing the codes did not fix any thing. Brought back in shop on 10 Aug 2022. Diagnostics ran again now narrowed it down to APIM failing 3 times in 2 days. Now deallership says they have to order part from California if they have them in stock. …”
NHTSA complaint #11478786, filed 2022-08“Back up camera screen goes blue when put in reverse. Then after 20 seconds says camera unavailable see dealer. I had dealer repair with a software reset. Worked for about 2 weeks then same symptoms. Noticed Ford has a recall for the same symptoms on other vehicles but for some reason F-350s are not a part of it. Would suspect the truck uses the same camera system as the other ford vehilces under the recall. Ford needs to step up and cover the F-350s”
