Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I was trying to move items around in my trunk. As I lifted a bag to pull it out, I felt sharp metal cut deep into my finger. I looked in side and saw that the trunk lid was just the frame with holes and no protective covering at all over the metal frame on the top of my trunk. I did not go to the hospital, but it was very deep and probably needed stitches.”

NHTSA complaint #11477484, filed 2022-08

“The sunroof leaks into the inside of the car saturating the headliner and the water is coming through and dripping directly on the shifter, eco button, and the traction control button. I am afraid it's going to mess with the wiring throughout the whole car.”
