“I had a passenger in the rear passenger side seat that could not open the door to get out. I had to go to the outside door handle to open the door. On inspection it appears the interior rear door handle has started to crack at the pivot point(spring return attachment point). The break causes interference with the rear door handle bezel and limits travel of door handle (door won't open). It appears the same thing is starting to happen on the other rear door. Car only has 85000 miles. It appears to be a design/manufacturing defect. …”

“06 Ford Fusion. I have been having a cracking sound in the front right suspension, took it in to Ford to get tires done, they found that my front subframe welds have cracked and it would cost 1500 to fix with a used part, the complaint is , when I came home and researched this issue, I have found tons and tons of complaint with this same issue, it appears to be a failure of Ford to have a correct weld placed in this area, I believe we need to have this investigated and looked at, the subframe weld that has broke is where the front lower control arm hatches to the frame, with this busted and…”

NHTSA complaint #10449734, filed 2012-02

“My windshield had serious distortions throughout the entire glass. Varying degress of magnification caused eye strain and headaches. It was dangerous driving the vehicle in this condition and not a pleasant experience. My dealership replaced the windshield only to have the new one be even worse. The new windshield is so bad it's as though I'm looking through a wet windshield that has not been wiped. The dealership has acknowledged the replacement is bad and that it might be indicative of a larger problem. They plan on contacting Ford. …”
