“My dash door indicator light came on and after checking the doors found the passenger rear door had opened and would not close. After trying several times to close the door no luck it would just swing back at me. I have emailed Ford to get info on this problem but no response back.”

NHTSA complaint #10712356, filed 2015-04, 44,500 miles

“My passenger front door wouldn't shut, in the rain, at the store, I had to leave it open and unlocked and have my husband physically had to hold the door shut. After slamming it probably over 100 times, we got it shut, we have the seat belt holding it shut. This is a huge concern for me, I have a 2 year old and 1 year old what if this happened to their door and no one could have held the door shut going down the road, or a gust of wind would have happened, etc. Wtf????????”

NHTSA complaint #10723974, filed 2015-06, 17,800 miles

“While reaching over to my right to push a preselected radio selection button, I swerved to the right. No damage. But the placement of the radio tuner to the right of the console may cause other drivers to reach over and swerve.”

NHTSA complaint #10561158, filed 2014-01, 7,400 miles

“1. Lane keeping departure system presents a danger to cyclists & pedestrians. Now that I am aware, I turn the system off; however, the steering wheel puts up a good fight when I tried to provide the cyclists room--an unnecessary issue that could of caused serious bodily harm or death. 2. The vehicle does not get the mpg as promised on the sticker: a great deal of unnecessary money was lost. 3. The electrical A/C unit no longer generates cold air, but the fan still runs.”

NHTSA complaint #10545268, filed 2013-09, 6,786 miles

“It's a complaint I have with the Ford sync system. I have this issue pretty much since the first week I had my car. However, things just get worst today. Normally, the navigation delays about couple minutes before working; however, this time my Ford navigation system just doesn't work for more than 40 mins....well, a 798 navigation performance even worse than a cheap garmin navi.... And I am not in city, I am at an I-696 exit near by farmington hill...and things get even worse is sync system also crashed for more than 5 mins until everything is back online... …”
