“Clunking in the front end around 20,000 miles. Brought to multiple dealers and they all said no problem found yet clearly hear clunking both sides front going over bumps or steering back and forth quickly. Finally I just replaced them and noise gone. Second thing is headliner is completely ruined from moisture intrusion and can visibly be seen but dealer states no leaks present yet my headliner is water stained looking like those wet tiles in a school. Third is my transmission. It is very erratic when shifting and sometimes flares when downshifting. Dealers state no problems exist. …”
NHTSA complaint #11712273, filed 2026-01“Since the date of purchase (10/29/21) I am unable to change/set FM stations. Apps (ie: iHeart, Spotify) and voice command work intermittently. Apps will not work unless phone is plugged in. 911 assist will not work if not paired and connected to a Bluetooth enabled and compatible cell phone (see pg. 59 2022 Maverick owner’s manual). Unsure if lane keeping assistance is working properly. Vehicle was brought to Sam Galloway Ford on 10/30/21. Per Sam Galloway Ford: “Ford is aware of these problems. It is a ‘hardware’ issue.””
