“The contact owns a 2002 Ford Mustang. While driving 35 MPH, the headlights became extremely foggy, resulting in poor visibility. Ford corporation was unable to determine the cause of failure. No repairs were made. The current mileage was 65,500 and failure mileage was 60,000. The consumer stated the plastic headlight cover has severe oxidation and the entire headlight assembly has to be replaced. Updated 12/12/07”
NHTSA complaint #10205036, filed 2007-10, 60,000 miles“Consumer stated vehicle the vehicle accelerated without warning. Dealer notified. . The consumer stated there was aloud noise when the vehicle was placed in any gear and then the vehicle jerked. The consumer also believed the speedometer was not working correctly. The rear view mirror was loose, the tail light lens had condensation, the window seal trim came off and the windows made up when up or down.”
