“I am having major electrical issues which Ford will not address. Sometimes this is intermittent, sometimes it is constant. Here is what happens: I get a barrage of errors on the dash, the radio and air conditioner will cycle on and off multiple times (sometimes will remain off); rear brake lights stop working, rear turn signal stops working. It does this randomly, sometimes for an extended period. I worry that someone may not check the brake lights or turn signal and be severely injured or killed in an accident. I have alerted Ford about this and believe that it fell on deaf ears. …”
NHTSA complaint #11088937, filed 2018-04, 70,000 miles“Electrical system problem. There does not seem to be a trigger in regard to rain, hot, or cold weather conditions or how it is being driven. I have had a Ford dealership work on this to no avail. I will start with the safety aspect that is affected. It will do all of these things at once and then slowly come back online, sometimes the errors do not correct themselves. 1. No brake lights 2. No rear turn signal 3. No heat/air (it will turn on and off) - which is bad in inclement weather for old people 4. Brake light, traction control light, tire pressure monitor, service engine, all have errors. …”
