“The rear window got broken and when to be replaced was told the roof has a manufactured default. Ford is not wanting to fix it and are passing me around to different people, because no one wants to take responsabiliy for it, my warrenty, is out by one month and so they say to bad for you. I can not get new rear window , because window man says it will not be properly installed,over the ridges in the metal, and may not seal and come loose. (nothing has been done to fix it, I am waiting on a call from Ford for three days.)”

They recommended me to go to the Ford dealer because they don't have necessary equipment to diagnose the problem. So I came to the quick lane at 11200 james swart circle, fairfax, va. They called me back in 2 hours and said that everything is fine with my car and completely ignored a written statement from goodyear that the ABS light came on after 12 miles of driving. Then they told me that they will keep checking, 2 days past, nobody bothered to call me. …”

NHTSA complaint #10071870, filed 2004-04“The car dies unexpectedly. The check engine light comes on but the dealer says that they cannot find anything wrong with the car. This has happened on two different occasions, (while the car is idling and when the car is in gear moving). Ford said that this has been reported on numerous occasions but they cannot fix the problem because when the diagnostic check is done no problem codes are recorded. Have you heard of this problem occurring and what can I do to get the problem fixed.”
