“The infotainment system (sync 3 w/ carplay) that came stock with my 2018 Mustang ecoboost recently stopped working. The car has 42k miles on it and is just over 2 years old. Sync 3 started to randomly lag (20-60 sec lag per button press), buttons became unresponsive (press not recognized at all), showed incorrect GPS locations while using carplay (plugged in) with multiple map services, backup cam issues, and would cause bluetooth to disconnect randomly. I logged a complaint with my local dealership and brought it in for a diagnostic test. …”

NHTSA complaint #11373044, filed 2020-11, 30,000 miles

“Rear camera safety recall. I've contacted the local dealerships of Galpin Ford and Santa Monica Ford to fix and been denied. This recall is over 1-month now, and they say they do not have the parts to fix and cannot help. This is affecting my safety and a financial inconvenience. Please advise, thank you.”

“I am the owner of the vehicle Ford Mustang 2018 purchased in the car dealer autos vega de pr where to verify it after the purchase I percome that it does not bring the accessories of, replacement tires, hydraulic cat and nut keys. The seller was asked about where he answered that they do not already bring that accessory because I have free assistance on the road. …”

NHTSA complaint #11191604, filed 2019-03

“The Accessory Protocol Interface Module failed. All functions of the camera, radio and entire middle display console do not work. When backing up to exit parking space or to back into a parking space I can't see what is behind me and have almost hit items multiple times. The dealer inspected and told me what the issue is; that it is not under warranty and would cost approximately $1000 to repair, which I don't have. There was no forewarning of this module failure; it occurred suddenly and without warning.”

NHTSA complaint #11454218, filed 2022-02

“I own a 2018 Ford Mustang EcoBoost convertible and am reporting persistent spider activity that has become a recurring driver-safety concern. Spider activity occurs on or around the vehicle essentially every day. I routinely see multiple spiders and webs on the windshield, hood, doors, roof, trunk, sides, and around both exterior mirrors. Spiders repeatedly build webs between the doors/body and both mirror housings, and I have seen spiders crawl out from behind the mirrors numerous times, especially the driver-side mirror. I also find web strands inside the passenger compartment. …”
